Coptic City Mission is a new initiative that applies some very old principles. The Mission is a vehicle by which young Copts can serve in the general community, while at the same time being served by receiving the blessing of this work.

The City Mission team goes into the streets of London on a weekly basis to provide food to the homeless. Team members carry out all the steps of the service: from buying food, to making sandwiches, to packing bags, to printing spiritual material, to driving, to actually meeting the homeless (under the close supervision of the project coordinator) and providing them with food and light spiritual material in the form of small printed cards.
